We had an amazing time exploring the weird and wonderful Dimmuborgir area. The lava formations were like something out of a fairy tale! The hotel was the perfect retreat after our adventures. Our spacious room was modern, with fluffy bathrobes and a lovely coffee machine for cozy mornings.
My kids wished there were more activities for them to enjoy at the hotel.

Waking up to stunning lake views with mountains in the backdrop was a comforting surprise. The on-site sauna with scenic backdrop was a perfect way to unwind after day adventures.
However, I had a minor issue with the heating system. it was a bit chilly during the night but didn't impact my overall experience too much.

Great location for couples, amazing views
The lake view room was unreal, really breathtaking, especially at sunset. The bartender went out of his way to mix a perfect Negroni for us, even though it wasn't on the menu.
It wasn’t exactly cheap, but the quality matched the price.
